15. The common name for an evil spirit is djin. The most dangerous one, who also is their chief, is dagok penanggalan. Mentally ill people are thought to be possessed by the semabaw spirit (Nasal dial.: serahai). The antoe lives in the forest and is the enemy of the collectors of forest products.
