ah is used when the final vowel sounds like a closed a. In the Kauer dialect one pronounces a word-final a partly as a, partly as oe (definitely not as the Javanese a sound); both vowels are heard as a single sound which cannot be transcribed with our script.

The word-stress is on the penultimate syllable. The letter k at the end of a word is partly swallowed, as in the other positions.
